Strange fringe theatre and a failed first art/lifestyle street tour

After the morning’s gym session where I stubbed my toe, Lara and I set off to check out Berlin. I found this cool little street tour that takes in some shopping and cultural highlights of the town mainly off the beaten track.

We got lost fairly quickly thanks to a strange fringe theatre which in no particular order produced a Japanese girl falling down some stairs backwards, celloist clad in white, throwing salt and standing in mounds of dirt (the performers… not us).

We managed to find our way again and started the street tour at a little architecture/art bookshop and then went to a ceramics store where we chatted to the shop owner about out trip. She didn’t even know she was on the street tour itinerary.

After that we got lost and so spent the time browsing some cool stores including adidas, birkenstock (really cheap sandals) and then a Myers type store.

The view from the S-bahn is great and worth just doing a lap of the city.
