Fritz funbox on the blink…

that’s what we call the internet connection in the apartment. Henning (who owns the apartment) was kind enough to open his wireless router to us so we can all be connected but it can be flaky. It always seems to disappear after a Skype session. Anyway it’s been up and dow this week so not many posts.

Only three more days in Berlin before we head out to Italy on Monday.

I went to the Berlin Zoo yesterday whilst the others trained. Didn’t have the intention to go there, but when I got out at Zoologishcher station it was just over the road so I checked it out for 12 euro. I haven’t been to a zoo since the lion park at Beenleigh when I was probably 12 so it was fun. They have one of the biggest range of animals in the world.

It’s a bit sad really watching the animals in the confined spaces but some are there for breeding purposes to keep the species alive. Also, the big awareness programs they run gets extra funding from visitors, but some of the animals don’t look all that happy.

We are off training again this morning and then a relaxing Saturday afternoon at Badeschiff which is supposed to be one of the coolest venues in Berlin. Should be good. Pics tomorrow.

Ben – yes I managed to get some fireworks for you but there were some problems so only one pack. I’m sure you can manage to destroy something with that!
