London to Stockholm

Just arrived in Stockholm after the long drive from London with Rich in the campervan. There was not much chance to see anything along the way. Just the roads and the petrol stations (where we stopped quite often!). The road-side stops where you can park and sleep are impressive though, all through Belgium Germany and Denmark.

Staying a hostel in the old city for tonight and then Carmen is joining me at a hotel for Friday and Saturday. The place leaves at 6am on Sunday morning which means I really wont sleep much as the bus leaves at 4am (the airpot if 80 minutes away!). I am done with these cheap flights and the airports miles out of the city. There must be a better way.

I have three full days in Stockholm to check out the place and of course the DN Galan meet where there are several Australians running. McLellan was on fire in Monaco after quiet race in London. 12.50 puts her at 25 all-time now.

Looking forward to getting back to Berlin where life can settle down again for a month.

  1. Looking for a better option than those cheap flights to far away airports? Simple – buy a helicopter.

We’ll work on that when you get back.

    Have a good one.

  2. we agree with Paul. Do it in style next time.

Saw McLellan race. Good luck to her in Berlin.

Would love to see the old parts of Stockholm.

Take some photots if you can.
